Slideways Showdown “Cinco De Drifto”

Our first official event at Lorain Raceway Park. The success of the series in 2023 allowed us make changes to this track to make it drift ready.

Welcome to the first EVER event at Lorain Raceway Park for “Cinco de Drifto”!

Racelab Industries, ECS Tuning, Propped Productions, Wingman Garage, Major League Tire and Lorain Raceway Park invite you to Slideways Showdown!
It’s a Sunday funday drift event, car show, parking lot drags, games, and prizes! It’s everything you can think of! So get your ride ready!

Did someone say DRIFTING?? Of course, we have drifting! Racelab will be running the drifting all day! Hop on the track to join the fun, or just sit back and watch the excitement all day!!

Drift Schedule as follows:
10:00am – Gates open for drivers
11:00am – Tech Starts
12:00pm – Gates open to the public/drivers meeting
12:15pm – Drifting starts
8:00pm – Drifting ends/Pack up and clean up

Come get the BEST amount of seat time you can get in the area!

Cars and drivers can be split up into groups for maximum seat time if there are a lot of drivers.

There are newer tire machines at this facility so please handle and respect the racetrack’s equipment.

There will be a food truck with soft drinks, delicious food and great snacks provided by Frankie B’s food truck!

We will have security on site to watch everyone’s cars and to be sure things remain cool. Please act responsibly. absolutely no donuts or burnouts in the parking lot will be tolerated save it for the track

Our first TWO day event with overnight camping at Lorain Raceway Park kicks off with “Nightlife Drift”. We plan on packing this event with music, tons of drifting and camping options. Stay tuned for more details.

Who is going to be the King or Queen of the ring? Our last event at The Painesville Speedway for the season will have open drifting along with a drift comp that determines who was the seasons “King of the Ring”

Wow the year went fast. Don’t worry, before “driftpression” kicks in for the winter we are throwing our “Fall Brawl” at Lorain Raceway Park. We plan on making this epic two day event HUGE. Camping, late night drifting and more. Stay tuned as we develop further details.
