At Slideways Showdown, we live and breathe grassroots drifting. Founded to provide a platform for drivers of all experience levels, our events bring adrenaline-fueled tandem battles, solo runs, and all-around fun to some of Ohio’s most iconic tracks — Painesville Speedway and Lorain Raceway Park.

Whether you’re a seasoned drift veteran or just starting your journey, Slideways Showdown offers a welcoming atmosphere with laid-back vibes, plenty of seat time, and a supportive community where everyone can hone their skills and have a blast.

Our Tracks

Painesville Speedway

Located in Painesville, Ohio, this short oval track offers an exciting layout for grassroots drifting. With a mix of technical turns and plenty of room for tandems, it’s the perfect proving ground for both rookies and seasoned pros.

Lorain Raceway Park

A staple in Northeast Ohio motorsports, Lorain Raceway Park offers drift clinics, driver practice days, and the chance for newer drivers to build confidence before jumping into full competition events.

Community-Driven Drifting

At the heart of Slideways Showdown is our community — a passionate group of drivers, crew members, fans, and sponsors who keep the Ohio drift scene alive and thriving. From garage-built drift cars to pro-spec machines, everyone has a place in our paddock.
