Refund & Returns Policy – Slideways Showdown
Welcome to the official Slideways Showdown Refund Policy page. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any tickets for our grassroots drift events at Painesville Speedway or Lorain Raceway Park. By purchasing your tickets, you agree to the terms outlined in this Slideways Showdown Refund Policy.
Slideways Showdown Refund Policy Overview
All ticket sales for Slideways Showdown events are final.
We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for any reason, except in the rare case of a full event cancellation (see below).
This policy applies to:
- Driver passes
- Spectator tickets
- Weekend passes with camping
- Any other ticketed Slideways Showdown event
We do not offer refunds for:
- Personal scheduling conflicts
- Vehicle breakdowns
- Driver disqualification
- Failure to pass tech inspection
- Inability to attend for any reason
Event Ticket Policy
When you purchase Slideways Showdown tickets, your name will be automatically added to our Will Call list at the gate. No physical tickets will be mailed.
- Upon arrival, you must present a valid photo ID to check in.
- Tickets are non-transferable unless pre-approved by Slideways Showdown staff.
- Unauthorized ticket resale or transfer may result in ticket cancellation without refund.
Weather Cancellations & Refunds Under the Slideways Showdown Refund Policy
If Slideways Showdown cancels an event due to severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, registered attendees will be offered either:
- A refund, or
- A credit toward a future Slideways Showdown event.
The choice of refund or credit will be at the discretion of Slideways Showdown and communicated directly to all ticket holders.
Weather delays or temporary stoppages during an event will not result in refunds. This policy only applies to full event cancellations where no driving or competition takes place.
Driver Passes & Tech Inspection Policy
All driver passes are non-refundable unless the event itself is cancelled.
Drivers are responsible for ensuring their vehicles pass the required tech inspection before they are allowed on track.
- Failure to pass tech inspection does not qualify for a refund.
- Please review our Driver Rules & Tech Requirements before purchasing your driver pass.
No Merchandise Returns
At this time, Slideways Showdown does not sell merchandise online, so no returns or refunds apply to online orders.
Any event merchandise purchased in person at Slideways Showdown events is sold as-is, and all sales are final.

Slideways Showdown reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Returns Policy at any time. Updates will be posted here, and your continued use of the website and participation in events signifies your acceptance of these terms.
